Disclosure triangles?

I’ve got my site up and running on WP 3.0.1. I’d like to be able to show/hide my footer based on user’s choice. A disclosure triangle for that section. You can see my site at http://www.durhamdbt.com and the section I want is the footer section with the widgets. I’ve googled and there doesn’t seem to be anything remotely easy to do. I can figure out how to do it if need be, but I don’t want to reinvent the wheel if there’s an easier way! TIA.
