   A couple of years ago I posted a pet memorial on pethosts.com. Now I am getting about 20-30 trackbacks from people adding posts that have to do with gambling. (Why they think this kind of junk at such a web site will attract people to their web site, I don't understand!)

   Is there a way to:
   1. Stop getting these trackbacks?
   2. Stop this useless posts?

   Is your site a WP powered blog? I couldn't find anything like that at the above address.

   I don't have a web site - I posted on pethosts.com which eveidently is hosted here.

   Looks like he's talking about http://pethosts.com/wordpress/index.php?m=20040724 which is a WP powered site, but running WP 1.0.1. They should upgrade that site ASAP and install some of the great spam killer plugins that are available.

   All this thread belongs to that specific blog and should concern its owners, not the forum here.
   My suggestion is to delete it!

   I assume that means that as someone who posted there 2 years ago - there is no way I can control what is happening there? I had hoped for a differnt answer!

   You will have to contact Pethosts.com, they are running an outdated version of the Wordpress software. These forums are to support the Wordpress software itself and not individual sites that are running Wordpress.
