[Plugin NextGen Gallery] Can't get gallery to perform?

    I can’t get a gallery, either on a page or sidebar widget, to display a single image with others hidden behind without pagination numbers/arrows displaying behind. Or more than 1 image being displayed.
    I seem to have tried all option combinations but must be missing something.
    Please help!!
