   My blog has been down for the last couple of hours. It went down yesterday and came back on today morning and went back down again:(. It is giving me the following error message when I try to access blog.iginonline.com. Someone please help me...
   Error establishing a database connection

   This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost.

   My blog is also down and I can't even get into the LOGIN page. It just so happens that my main site is down also. I'm powered by DreamHost. Are you hosted by the same?

   This is a hosting problem. WP will be working fine - email your hosts and ask them what's up.

   If you're hosted by DreamHost, do what Podz suggested or keep an eye out at this link.

   My main site is working fine. My blog is back on now but I don't know how long it is gonna last though:(. I'm powered by ipowerweb.

   UPDATE: Anyone with DreamHost, their currently doing maintenance on their database. Either that or someone spilled coffee on a keyboard and made the building collapse.

   i am having the exact same problembut my host is start logic. i contacted them and tehy said everything looks to be running fine on their end. any suggestions what else i can try????

   Ask them if they "upgraded" something.... php, mySQL....
