I’m using The Morning After theme from Woo Themes. The default prefix for all titles is //. I want no prefix at all. I make this change and save it. My titles look OK. The next time I log in, the // is back before every title. How can I get rid of the // General Prefix permanently?

  • Hi bobover3,

I am having the same issue and I would like to know if you solved it or not. When I delete it in the settings it seems like the changes does not save.
    Any help? Thanks a lot.

    Hi, gambusino,

I haven’t had this problem in a long time, although it’s not for any reason I know.

I use the latest version of WordPress (don’t know if this makes a difference.)

I recently installed the W3 Total Cache plug-in, which has improved the speed and performance of my whole site (again, I don’t know if this made a difference).

This is one of those WordPress Mysteries. I can only tell you the problem went away, but I don’t know why.

    Best of luck!

    Hi bobover3,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have tried with the plug-in you mentioned and updating everything but it doesn´t seem to work. It keeps coming it will save for a while but it will come again.

    I will keep researching.

    Thanks!
