Previous/Next Post overall?

    Hello Guys!

    I’m making a website and on my main page with wordpress i only have 1 post with navigation that says

    Previous | Next

    So my goal is to show latest post on the main page and on this page to have these two links after the post that take me directly to the next/prev posts but i want it to work for ALL categories, as i have 3x categories my coder says it’s only possible to use these links for the same category?

    Can this be changed some how?
