it is a movie review blog, i always like those. nice header image you have chosen, perhaps you would like to add a logo as well, that will help in branding.
i always suggest to remove /2010/10/11/ these things from the urls, no point making the url longer.
other than that, you can consider removing the calender from the sidebar, and perhaps use a little bigger social buttons. I always prefer voting buttons instead of static buttons, like the digg/stumble/twitter/facebook buttons that as vote counts. Also, adding those social widgets on your sidebar will make it look even better.

I know you just got your site started, but I agree with healthvotes about developing a logo. Even a simple logo would help with branding. Maybe a more unique background image, too. Great start!
