• Hi all…

I’m getting ready to implement use of WordPress in a business environment for a large team. One of the things we’d like to do is leverage RSS feeds from our site (and in the future, from others) to let our staff build custom blogrolls/aggregations. The key is that the feed aggregator software has to be web-based, and it has to support multiple users (i.e. password-protected accounts so that each individual user can have their own feed list). I’ve done some googling around the web, and can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. I’d prefer a system that doesn’t need a database back-end, and is implemented either in PHP of server-side Java (i.e. Tomcat compatible).

Does anyone have any ideas where I can find such a beast?

    Thanks in advance…Neil

  • Try Roam for Java based software.
    Try Magpie RSS for PHP.

Well, I can’t seem to find Roam anywhere…

And I’m aware of Magpie RSS, but I’m really looking for a finished (open source) product I can just put on a server and use…I’d prefer not to have to build my own solution on top of something like Magpie RSS for timeliness’ sake.

Does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks again…

There are quite a few; search the forums.

Have a look on the website of FEED2JS . Nice rss/php/js software with lots of posibilities.
