Support » Networking WordPress » plug-in to notify admins of posts to certain blogs

  • Hi,

I have a site set-up for a school. The students each submit their homework on an individual blog. There are several admins for the site who are “teachers” to check the students homework. However, each admin only checks a certain group of students’ homework.

I am looking for a plug-in that will send the admins an e-mail when the students post to their blogs – but I need to be able to set it so that x admin gets notifications from students 1-10 and y admin gets notification from students 11-20, etc…

I have been unable to find something that will do that – so I thought I would check if anyone here knows of one … or perhaps knows of one that might be easily customized to do that?

    Thank you!

  • Notifly Plugin: Add the teacher’s email to the Discussion settings page of each student blog in their group and they get a notice each time a post or comment is published.

Or make the teacher the Admin role of each student’s individual blog, set the student as a Contributor role so all their post are pending review. I think Administrator gets email when a contributor submits post for review by default, but a plugin will do more …
“You can assign specific moderators (these must be Administrator or Editor users) to specific Contributor users” using Peter’s Collaboration E-mails for WordPress Plugin
