Can someone suggest a plugin or way to make a catagory display sub-cats neatly?

    Okay, here is what I’m looking for, I have arranged lots of catagories into a heiarchical nature, but many catagories have no importance but their place in the tree. Here is an example:

    Washington DC
    -Wards
    –Ward 1
    –Ward 2
    — etc.
    -Neighborhoods
    –Adams Morgan
    –Dupont Circle
    — etc.
    -Zip Codes
    –20002
    –20003
    — etc.

    I would like for the 1st sub-level catagories to show a nice-neat directory style listing of all the sub-catagories maybe with their descriptions, not posts in the sub-catagories.

    Is there a way to do this?
