• I have been using a Firefox Extension from http://delicious.mozdev.org/ for a while and is very handy util.

This tool makes it so easy to add bookmarks into del.icio.us thats its effortless.

Does any one know of a similar plugin that can let me blog about a link/webpage and then click [SEND] from firefox for it to appear as an entry into WordPress?

I am currently using a WordPress plugin that displays my del.icio.us book marks but does not give the added functionnality of categorising the content and for people to leave comments.

  • How about going to your Admin section go to Write, look for the block there called WordPress bookmarklet. Grab the link that is there and drop it to your toolbar/sidebar, whatever.

Then in your browser, hightlight something you want to blog about or just hit the “Press It” bookmark and blog away..

Actually, I would prefer if instead of the Bookmarklet, there were a Firefox extension or a WordPress plugin so that upon clicking the blog page opens in the sidebar and the post gets published instantaneously?

Cypher: thanks for the tip, i cant believe i missed that!

Just Blog It http://blog.warmbrain.com/justblogit/ is a Firefox extension I quite like….

Adds to the right-click menu. Select it and your posting page opens in a window with the current page’s title filled in the post title box and the link in the post area.

    Thanks LesBessant!

And also, there is this WordPress Sidebar (JS bookmarklet) in the Profile area at the bottom that also does the trick of opening the sidebar with the “Write Post” template.
