Unable to get .html on both pages and posts

I was able to get .html extension on my blog “posts” by setting custom permalink structure to be …

/%postname%.html

But it does not append the .html extension on “pages”.

So I use the “html for pages plugin” — which does get the .html extension on pages. But it does not work in conjunction with the above permalink structure. I had to change my permalink structure back to /%postname%

So now I don’t have .html extension on posts.

I would like to have .html extension on both pages and posts. Seem like I can only get one or the other, but not both.

Has anyone been able to get this.
