• The images I added to my most recent post look fine on the home page, but don’t appear on the permalink page. This is the first time this has happened–all my other posts appear on their permalink pages with all their illustrations. I used the same procedure to add them as before, so I can’t figure out what went wrong this time.

  • One the permalink pages where the image is missing, you’re only getting part of the image URL, i.e. ../wp-content/uploads/2010/09/pills-resize-copy.jpg rather than the full path with the domain. Did you change a page template? Check to see that the full path is added in the image uploader. You can go back in the html editor and add
    http://writingcraftandpractice.stephaniegolden.net to the img paths.

Thank you so much! Adding the rest of the path did the trick. Though I don’t understand why this problem happened now but never in the past. Something else to watch out for.

Your answer helped with my having the same issue … However, I can only correct the existing IMG problems on PermaLinks. I cannot determine why photo paths are doing this. I note that you asked the other person if they had changed a page template … I don’t think that I have … or not intentionally. Any more thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

It’s probably a theme problem. Change to the default WP theme for a minute and see if the image paths change to full and the images work.

Now it is really getting funky. I removed the .. from the paths to the phootographs and that seem to have fixed the problems on photos already posted. Now, for my next post, no photographs will upload into the blog I just wrote …. Is this some virus thing?
