Next/Previous incorrect

On a single post page, the next_post/previous_post tags with the “in_same_cat” parameter set to ‘yes’ do not work properly because, as the Codex says : “If post is listed in more than one category, it will show posts within the parent category, not the child category.”

The “Next/Previous posts in same category” plugin from Scriptygoddess does not work better.

When a user picks up a post from a category page, he should see links to the previous and next posts in that same category.
NOT links to the posts belonging to the parent category.
NOT links to the posts belonging to all the categories to which the original post is related.

Is there a solution? (I did search this forum first!)
