• Hello, first thanks for the UAM plugin who save my life for many things πŸ™‚

    I just have one problem, for some reason I cannot have the “access” modal box when I’m creating an event with the plugin “events calendar pro”. So I cannot make an event private and it’s really annoying for me as I really need this function for my events.

    The default “private” tickbox of wordpress do not work as well.

    Do you have an idea how to resolve ?

    Many thanks and have a nice day.

    You should contact the plugin author. I don’t think that the “events calendar pro” plugin uses posts or pages as event (if I’m wrong correct me). So the plugin author has to extend the “events calendar pro” plugin that the user access manager can handle the events. This should be possible since version 1.1 of the UAM, but a api documentation isn’t available yet.

    Hello thanks for your quick reply. I think your right, Event calendar pro use a separate interface to create events than the post writting interface. But one thing is strange, the “access” line still appears on the event list in the admin area (see screenshot). Anyway I will ask the plugin author for that. thank you very much.

    @gm_alex,

    I am on the plugin team and events are custom post types.

    @shane.pearlman: If you are interested of extending your plugin you should take a look at the source code of the User Access Manager – NextGEN Gallery Extension here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-access-manager-nextgen-gallery-extension/. I think that could be done in a easy way. A api documentation will come soon.

    Shane, which Event calendar are you working with ? Have you integrated UAM support ?

    Alex, do you know of any Event Calender type plug-in that has made an effort to work with UAM ?

    Love the power and simplicity of UAM. Now I just need to find the Plug-Ins I need that will work with USM.
