• I’m using the xlanguage language switcher and would like to move the selector widget to the header rather than in the sidebar section (which will not always be there as I want to be able to use full width pages as well). So, I was hoping some kind soul could tell me what to do as I’ve had no luck so far.
    I tested with the WPML plugin and there were no problems moving the selector to the upper left hand corner by adding the line
    <?php do_action('icl_language_selector'); ?>
    to the header.css.
    However I don’t like the white background (although it could probably be changed) or the way the plugin adds flags and tags everywhere and would like to keep the existing one, if only I were able to move that selection box…
    This is probably quite simple, I just can’t figure it out. Apparently I would need to add a new widget area, only I don’t have a clue where to begin as all the instructions I’ve found are theeme spesific (as they would be) and the template files of my theme don’t seem to differ quite a bit from what most other themes have.
    The theme I’m using is Station by Page Lines, and the page is here.
    Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
