Uncategorized – How to remove?

    Hi,

    I’m working some edits on the website of my employer. Although I’m new with wordpress but it’s easier for me to understand especially in adding some page or editing a page. Since I have a knowledge working with html codes.
    Anyway, my concern here is how to removed or edit the word “Uncategorized”
    at the bottom of the page right most. I tried to renamed them at the post >categories, (i renamed it as “Online TV News” )
    And still it appears “Uncategorize” at the bottom of the page
    Does The slug must be equal or the same name with the category column?

    please please help on this…

    Yoursit_eurl/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

    Go to this page, And edit the name of the Uncategorized category to “General” or something like that.

    When creating a new blog post, Make sure to choose a category that you want.
