Email plugins@wordpress.org though I suspect it’s because you have spaces in your name.
Thank you! Just have written an email.
I suspect it’s because you have spaces in your name.
“doktorbro” is space-free. Or do you mean the displayed forum name?
Now my gravatar is correct everywhere.
The support answers:
I see all 3 the same – maybe it’s your browser cache if you just changed it?
Why do they think, that a plugin developer does not clear his cache 10 times and reproduce the issue on different browsers, before write a bug report?
I believe the server cache of wordpress.org was a problem.
Well … Because this site doesn’t cache gravatars. It calls them from the gravatar URL, so it’s possible that there’s was a weird caching issue on gravatars servers, or the server wp was being directed to.
And you can’t assume that every plugin dev is as savvy in all things. So when you get advice pitched to a lower denominator than you are, just be patient, remember we are unpaid volunteers here, and that we cant magically know what you know 🙂
Ipstenu, please, don’t think I’m rude. I’m just wondering: browser cache clearing is lesson 1, wordpress plugin writing is lesson 100 🙂
Thank you for support!
BTW, our plugins are unpaid too 😉
I know so many people who skip lesson one, though (my real job involves tech support of ‘developers’ and it never ceases to astound me how many of them ask me ‘Why do I need to dump my browser cache?’) 😉
Glad it’s all working! And glad I was wrong about the spaces!
