Different sets of categories

    I want to set up different sets of categories so that they can be called and displayed seperately. For example, I would like to have a set of categories like Podcasts and Blogs that can be called and displayed seperately from personal blogs like Mike, Joe, Sue…etc. Is there a way to do this, or can anyone think of an alternate way for me to accomplish my goal?
