   whats a good RSS reader and how do i know its working?
   i mean how do i know the RSS feeds are sended?

   Well a RSS reader just reads RSS feeds, I haven't quite gotten into that fad yet and if I do use one it is just the inbuilt one in Safari.

   Not sure what you mean about iff an RSS feed is sent? Do you want to check your own feeds? If you do then goto http://feedvalidator.org and type in http://theurltoyourblog.com/feed

   on that site i typed
   http://www.mysite.com/feed and Server returned HTTP Error 404: Not Found

   then i typed :

   http://www.mysite.com/wp-rss2.php

   it says it validates OK.
   im i doing something wrong?

   the /feed must only work if you are using pretty permalinks, which I recommend doing if at all possible:

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks

   well i read that page before
   when i was trying to set them for the Êtegory%
   i found out , you cant put category on the permalink of a post!

   also a warning,
   apache 1.3 servers cant easily make a category permalink

   yes you can, but i barely know php, and requires a lot of trial and error
