running another wp installation in subfolder

    hi guys,

    having a problem installing a second wp system:

    i have WP A running at the main domain “www.abcdefg.com”

    now i installed WP B in the subfolder “shop”. installation in “www.abcdefg.com/shop” works fine, admin area is ok and main page is also shown without errors. all good 🙂 but when a post or page is clicked on WP B i get an “404 not found” error from WP A.

    hm. anyone any ideas? anyone?

    Try re-saving your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel on WP B. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.

    Go to Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel, confirm that the permalinks are set to what you want, and save them, even if nothing has changed.
