Asociate 2 custom posts types between them.

Hi,

I’m makin an small discographic site on WordPress.

I have Artists and Albums. Each Artist is related with an Album. Sometimes an Artist has more than an Album and sometimes an Album could have more than an Artist.

In the begining I thougt to create the custom post type “Albums” and create new custom taxonomie “Artist”, but then I’ve realized that each artist needs to upload their picture, resume, etc.

So I’ve created both “Albums” and “Artists” custom taxonomy. So I now need to asossiate both. I’ve found a plugin to associate pages and posts (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-page-association-plugin/) and i think that i could hack it to fit my needs, but I would like to do something whithoud a plugin or something more “standarized”

Any ideas to do this ?
