   Can someone explain what's going on here?

   It works fine in FF, but in IE, the first post is nicely displayed and the rest are cut short.

   You have a whole file (the index file of your blog) included(?) in another file - which causes a bunch of errors, of course. Try to validate your site. The IE problem might be independent of that, but there would be more chances to investigate if the site validates.

   Hmm. I guess I don't understand your suggestion. I have a file -- index.php -- which contains all of the wordpress php stuff, and all of my formatting.

   I don't know if this is the right way to do it, or what "other" file you're seeing ...

   I tried to validate it and came up with a bunch of errors, but I don't even know where to start with them ...

   Sorry for the really basic nature of this comment, but I'm wondering if anyone has any basic insight ...
