[Plugin: Pierre's Wordspew] Spanish translation

    Hey there!
    We are testing your plugin in our site (http://www.cuys.com.ar)

    and we’ve like to change the info text shown before the messages.

    because there’s a mistake

    When it says:
    Info : Por favor, resuelve la suma de abajo antes de postear un comentario nievo…

    it’s not nievo, but NUEVO

    How can we fix it?

    is it possible not to show anything at all?

    Hi aleskalex,

    download Poedit from here : http://www.poedit.net/
    download the “wordspew-es_ES.po” from the sub-folder “lang” of the “pierres-wordspew” folder edit it, it will generate a file “wordspew-es_ES.mo” that you’ll have to re-upload to the same folder it came from, replacing the “old” one.

    Edit: Well, it’s done! btw, it was already fixed in the uncompiled version of the language file!

    Hello Pierre,

    I’ve WordPress 3.0.1 NL installed. Wordspew doesn’t “see” this and uses English. In the wp-config I see: Lang=nl

    Wordspew uses xx_XX files?

    Hi RichardDacia,

    weird, this is not really common to see that kind of syntax in wp-config ;).
    Try to change this line to define ('WPLANG', 'nl_NL');
    or to rename the file wordspew-nl_NL.mo to wordspew-nl.mo.

    Hello Pierre,

    Changing the the line to define (‘WPLANG’, ‘nl_NL’); didn’t solve it.
    Renaming the file wordspew-nl_NL.mo to wordspew-nl.mo solves a part of it. Admin, Name and Message are translated to dutch now. But “archive” didn’t change and inside the shoutbox I still have “Last Message” and the timestamp in English…..

    Hi RichardDacia,

    I don’t understand why it doesn’t work in “standard” format (define ('WPLANG', 'nl_NL'))…
    Anyway, the dutch translation is pretty old and that’s why a lot of translation are missing. If you feel to update the dutch translation ;). If you do it, don’t forget to send me the files (MO and PO files) at pierre at monblogamoua dot fr.

    I will update the dutch translation, Next week I’m going on a holiday so than I’ve time to do it. After I finish the translation I’ll try if it’s working well.

    And of course you will receive the MO and PO files….)
