• When I click an image in a post rather than it open up in lightbox (I installed the Lightbox Plus plugin) it takes me to a new page with just the image which I them have to click to open it up. Obviously to my users it seems strange so I doubt they’re clicking it for the second time and probably think my site is covered with tiny images!

Any idea what I’m doing wrong please? 🙂

  • You need to add the lightbox “trigger” class (or markup) to the images in your page content.

Shouldn’t the plugin be doing that?

I am having this same problem. where is the “class” for the images?
where do you change the class to “trigger” ?
It ends up with people commenting on pages that do not exist on the blog, but are somehow associated with the “other” images.

I really like the option of offering a link to a larger size copy of the image, but it seems to be very confusing to readers and there ought to be a better way..

    Anyone any ideas about this?

At least I know it’s not just me.

I think if there was a better plug in to use for graphics, I would put it in if it didn’t require you to be a programmer to do it.

anyone out there understand this stuff?
