    Hi There, any help out there?
    The rss feed and comment buttons don't work and I've got such sparkling content it's a shame not to share it! http://www.ken-finn.com/flog/index.php

    On clicking the feeds I get a 'Page not Available Error' and the address line displays " feed:http://www.ken-finn.com/flog/?feed=rss2 " When I remove 'feed:' from the address I get a slightly more meaningful error "XML page cannot be displayed" Using the same process on the comments feed i.e. removing 'feed:' from the address reveals what looks like the functioning feed.

    Got any ideas?

    As it's been covered MANY times here, feed: is just for feed readers that support it. It's meant so that when you click it and have a reader installed that supports it, it auto-adds the feed to the reader. ;)

    You can safely remove feed: from your template.

    As for the syntax error in your normal feed, it's due to this at the top of your feed's code:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="'.get_settings('blog_charset').'"?>
    <!-- generator="wordpress/1.5.1.3" -->

    Looks like your character set is not being properly inserted. I'd try to troubleshoot it, but you aren't running the latest version, so that may be the problem right there. So, please upgrade to v1.5.2 and then if it's still not working, double check that you have a character set set in your options in your admin area.

    Thanks Viper
    Yep sorry to be a slacker but it's probably because it has been covered so many times that I saw many threads and was confused.
    I'll update to the new version (which of course will probably generate another set of issues but hey)
    Anyway I appreciate your response. Thanks
    Ken
