• I got Shadowbox JS installed and working, almost. When I create a new post, add some text, link it, save draft; the page looks great, there is a text link that when I click on, shows my video. Awesome! BUT…I want there to be an image that when its clicked on, the video opens up instead of clicking on a text link. I don’t quite see how to do that. It could be I’ve looked at so many video plugins today my eyes are crossed. lol I’m using the Simplepress theme by Elegant Themes, it already has the proper header and footer code, as well as lightbox and timthumb. Forget timthumb, I can’t seem to make that work for the life of me. All I really want is to create a video gallery using Shadowbox js and have images/thumbnails to click on, not just text. Help!:) xoxoxo in advance:) or if you happen to know how to integrate Shadowbox js and timthumb and explain it to someone without a left brain you’ll be my new hero. heh thanks!!

ohmygoshness as I was writing my question above the following solution dropped into my brain from the universe. LOL mebbe it will help others:

In wp admin; create a new post or page. Use the little button up top that says ‘add image’, and add your image of choice. Before you save that, where it says “Link URL”, add the youtube url or other media url as instructed in Shadowbox js Usage notes. Save. Preview your post. Click on the image, your video comes up beautifully:) NO custom fields, no additional coding needed.

Now if someone can tell me how to make timthumb show my video thumbnails using custom fields or whatever I’ll make a shrine to you. lol
