I’m looking for the same. I would advise not using janrain for the time being, it worked great for me until they updated it to work with WP3.0, now many users (myself included) report it not working with IE at all

I installed it on our blog–I just don’t know enough to do the “token” step of installation correctly. Thus, I am looking for alternatives.
Wish I could help more…. I remember following the instructions, and having to run through things a couple times before it finally worked
You might be interested in using WP Social Connect which supports login/register & commenting using Facebook, Twitter, OpenID, Windows Live, Yahoo, WordPress.org & Google accounts.

We tried installing Social connect on wordpress(3.0.4) but it is not working ..when we click on any of the icons say gmail or yahoo…nothing happens and when we mouse over those icons we can just see following line in status bar
‘javascript://’
we just want to use it for google, yahoo, openid and myopneid …but nothing is working ..please help…waiting for reply.

Did you try renaming the folder to ‘wp_social_connect’?
The next build we do will have this requirement removed.

‘The folder that you install the plugin to needs to be renamed to ‘wp_social_connect’. This folder will be inside the WP plugins folder, so it should be wp-content/plugins/wp_social_connect’
I did so ..and now i m getting login screen of google and yahoo and all …but after i enter details and submit the login form i m getting 404 error….over following URL

i noticed one thing which might help u to guide me in correct direction ..once i enter login info i m getting one page before it gives 404 error and following comes on that page
This is probably not the site you are looking for!
You attempted to reach centerstest.dadabhagwan.org.cactus.arvixe.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *.arvixe.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of centerstest.dadabhagwan.org.cactus.arvixe.com. You should not proceed.

I hear there is a WordPress plugin on the way which will allow to add Facebook, Twitter, Google and others as a login option.
