MU blog vulnerabilities. People signing up and posting even though disabled

    Right OK.
    So I have a MU blog account and have people signing up and posting on my blog although signing up is disabled and the default role is a subscriber.
    I am quite worried as it started yesterday and as of then 3 more people have signed up and I now have four. Does anyone know how they are accessing the blog behind the scenes to the point where they are writing posts?
    I have many (35 I think) Plugins, could this be a reason? I mean nobody is commenting so my SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam plug-in isn’t doing its job, is the fact that I don’t have akismat installed anything to do with the site’s vulnerability?
