Go to the minify tab in the Performance section in WP admin
there’s some explanation in the FAQ area

If you’ve tried to use this and failed, please give some details and someone may be able to help

Got it working thanks… somewhere i feel there is a usability issue. I had to figure out a way by entering all the css file URIs. Can we have an auto detect option to know what all CSS are being used?

That’s there too, though I didn’t notice it at first either! (I looked for it because it was one of the announced changes for an upgrade)

There’s a help button near to the top of the minify page – finds both CSS and JavaScript files used (and which page types they’re used in)

Right again @efikim. I can’t think of a better place to put those buttons than the instructions for a given tab. 🙂

    Hi,
I have been trying to mifiny my css and javascript and have had no succes. In the minify tab I choose my css files and the templates they are supposed to appear and then I click save changes and all the files just disappear.
I have no idea what might be wrong.
By the way, I am using WordPress 3 and I have a child theme for twentyten.
Another thing, W3 Total cache is cresting the minifyed files, it just isn’t including them in the pages.

Can you try the development version and see if the problem persists?

Thank you so much. Apparently everything is working fine.
