   Hi all,

   I know this has to do with .htaccess, but I'm rather clueless as to where .htaccess should be and what should be inside it. I know there is one in my root directory, but when I copied & paste the code from WordPress into it, I started getting Error 500 returns. I tried making it writable but WP didn't seem to recognise that it was now writable.

   The errors I get by clicking on a permalink such as:

   http://kektik.com.au/fsts/2005/08/21/hello-world/#comments

   Returns a 404. Can anyone please guide me as to how I setup a proper .htaccess for WP Permalinks, that's writable & recognisable?
