• I created a little website (http://www.gvisit.com/) that lets small website track their visitors using Google Maps. I think it would be really cool to have this as a plug-in for WordPress or even built into a cool skin. Would this be possible using Plug-ins?

  • Yes. I wanted to add it into wp-advanced-stats but could never get around to it :S.

I’ve finished creating version 0.5 of a new WordPress plugin for gvisit. Here is the permalink:

Please let me know your thoughts. I’d like to figure out a way to allow WordPress users configure the plugin to use the WordPress css styles rather than use the gvisit.com HTML. I could do some regex to work around things, but am concerned that would make the code brittle if gvisit.com were to tweek the HTML output 🙂

Maybe there is a way gvisit.com could output things in a tab-delimited or xml format? Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome.
