Not able to change the description of plugin and author homepage

    Hello,

    I just uploaded a plugin for wordpress users and I want to change the description of the plugin and author homepage. However I am not able to edit it.

    How do i do it? Whenever I login, I can see any option to edit anything?

    Please guide!

    I too need information about this. The submission process is not very straightforward. I thought the description was for the initial inspection of the plugin, since there was already a description in the readme.txt. Why would I need both?

    edit: I figured out my issue after reading the documentation more carefully. I had to create a folder in the tags directory named after the stable release version, and then place the readme.txt file in there.
