Yes. WPBook will attach an image to the wall post, using the first “attached” image it finds. (If you use the WordPress built-in media manager and add an image from the post compose screen, that will be used).

If you’re attaching images and they are not showing up, it may be a sizing issue.

Could you please tell me more about sizing issue? My wall post don’t show thumbnail both on my profile anh page.

Sorry for my ignorance about coding.

Are you attaching the thumbnail using the WordPress post edit page and the “Add an Image” button in that editor?

Per Facebook documentation ( http://developers.facebook.com/docs/guides/attachments ) it looks like images attached to wall posts can be “up to 90 pixels in both height and width.”

This means you need to make sure the *first* attachment listed with a post must be smaller than 90×90 for it to be successfully posted to Facebook.

I am planning in a later revision to use the “featured image” (in WordPress 3.x) or what used to be called the “post thumbnail” (in WordPress 2.9) and auto-resize the thumbnails but haven’t gotten to that yet, so you have to do it manually for now. (Hoping to do this in WPBook 2.1).

After trying some different circumstances I realise that if I make a post using WP Editor on the web the thumb will show on my FB wall. But if I use Live Writer to write a post them thumb won’t show although the image still uploaded to the Media library. The exact reason I don’t know but I’m sure it’s not sizing issue.

Unfortunately, I always blogging by Live Writer because it very convenient. So I hope that you will find the way to solve it. I’m not an coding professional but I like blogging and communicate will my friends on FB. I want to share my blog post with my friend on FB. I find WPbook is the very plugin I like most. It make the life more interesting.

    Thank you,
PS: Pls accept my friend request on FB.

Thanks for the further information mienque.

Can you set a “Featured Image” or “Post Thumbnail” when using LiveWriter?

I’ll have to look at how images are set when you use the XML-RPC protocol to post.

I didn’t set anything. That means I use feature Image when post by Live Writer
