• Rather than bloat my HTML with inline CSS, I want to impose a stylesheet – pretty basic stuff.

However, I don’t have access to much more than the “Add new post” button; no <head> access, no direct file access.

Under other CMSes I’ve been able to include <style> tags in the body and wrap my CSS in that – I’m not sure how well every browser picks that up, and it’s really more of a hack than anything, but it works. WP seems to strip style tags. Any ideas for a good workaround that doesn’t require a plugin?

  • Try editing your theme’s stylesheet via Admin/Appearance/Editor. Or use (and stick to) the HTML tab and add inline style.

See, I don’t have admin access, so I can’t edit stylesheets directly. Is there another way, apart from using inline css?

Not that I’m aware of. 🙁
