How much knowledge required for theme editing

    I write for a android-based website called Androidbloke.co.uk and we are looking for a new theme. I want to know how much html and CSS knowledge i need to edit a theme. I have one in mind and i don’t need to edit much, mainly aesthetics.

    I have not got much HTML or CSS, only a few hours practice with lessons on them. is that enough for some simple editing of say colours and adding my own images?

    I should reiterate that i only want to change the layout of a few things and also add some minor functions, is that easy to do?

    You might be better offer going with a new theme that has the layout that you like, then changing the colors and images.
