[Plugin: Contact Form 7] preselect dropdown based on URL variable

    Is there any way to pre-select a dropdown (or pre-populate a textfield) from a variable sent via the URL

    eg: mysite/contact-form-page/?var=somevalue2

    when the form page loads, “somevalue2” is already selected in the dropdown

    can anybody help please??
