Failed to upgrade to 3.0.1 could not copy file

    Hi Guys
    Using Version 3 in WP and I keep getting different errors

    When I first try the upgrade it gives Could not create directory.: /www

    When I get around that it gives me failed to copy wordpress/wp-admin/css/theme-editor.dev.css

    Has anyone got a solution to these errors please

    Most folder permissions are on 755 and I have also changed the permissions on the theme-editor. When I changed the permissions on that file it came back to the Could not create directory.: /www error

    I was having the same problems trying to upgrade the WordPress version or plugins and was getting changing errors. After changing file permissions, manually deleting my upgrade folder, increasing the amount of PHP memory that could be used…I finally found out that the problem was with the ftp server that my host uses (well, the problem actually involved a WordPress bug, but it was solved by asking my host to change my ftp server temporarily to proFTP until I finished my upgrades.)
