Portfolio site posts

So, I want to add work I’ve done on my “portfolio” page (I already have a blog page on there) and I’ve been looking at the plugin called “WordPress Portfolio Plugin”. i’d like something similar, but without the links showing as I just want to show stuff I have made etc and not finished websites.

Any tips and ideas on how to do so? Maybe it’s possible to change that portfolio plugin? All help is appreciated.
