[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Can't make top-level categories

On the Categories screen in 3.8b2, there is no longer an interface to make “groups” within which “categories” exist, though “group” & “category” are still used interchangeably (?) on the page.

When creating new categories, the “Category Parent” drop down menu lists previously created categories, but not an option for “none,” meaning that only the first category created can be a top level category – all subsequent categories must pick a parent from the menu. Makes the scheme pretty much useless…
