edit image not working

    Hi folks,
    Strange issue I cannot seem to fix: I want to edit the cropping of image thumbnails in the media gallery.

    Some images will crop fine, others, when I go to save, I get a “Unable to save the image” message. I’ve checked for the usual culprits: file permissions, owners, etc. Two files will be exactly the same, yet one will work, and another will not. I’ve also had this issue with 2.9.2.

    Any ideas as to what prevents a thumbnail cropping?

    Have you tried re-saving the problematic images in a graphic application – ensuring that .jpg images are saved using standard encoding or are optimised for web use?
