    MacItaly,

Some hosting companies kill processes which run for a long time. Though we have designed the plugin not to run for extended periods, but still hosting companies might kill the process running backup. Can you check in server logs for messages which says something about ‘fcgid’ and ‘wp-cron’?

    Thanks for support,
my hosting company it’s me, as it’s a dedicated server.
In processed and error logs no “fcgid” strings and wp-cron are called too many times, so I tried once again a manual backup, failed again after usual 6 files, no logs in errors and following are wp-cron in access logs:

    [09/Aug/2010:09:02:11 +0000] “POST /wp-cron.php HTTP/1.0” 200 547 “-” “WordPress/2.9.2; http://xxxxxxxxxxx.com”

    (omissis)

    – [09/Aug/2010:09:10:45 +0000] “POST /wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron HTTP/1.0” 200 346 “-” “WordPress/2.9.2; http://yyyyyyyy.xxxxxxx.com”

    Hope this can help

I tried also 1.1.0 version and nothing change, apart that in this case, the scheduled backup doesn’t works at all.
Also I installed idrive 1.1.0 in another wp 3.0.1 not multisite, new idrive account, normal installation in shared hosting, with only one theme and result are that (at this moment) more than 20 hours that control panel says:
    -Backup is in Progress Now!
    -Backup Initializing…
    and logs:
    -Backup in progress

I’m going to remove the plugin, if you want I can communicate accounts name so you can check logs
    Thanks for assistance
