Changed Permalinks, categories now broken?

    Just %postname% used to be a bad idea, my idea is that it still is.

    I hope you get an answer to this .. I have a similar question and situation. All posts made using custom default (and links), and now nothing shows up in categories. And as you said, going back to change all the links is time/labour-intensive.

    There must be a solution?

    i use %post_id%/%postname%

    foley2010, I actually found the solution to my problems and it was my own stupidity/forgetfulness.

    For whatever reason I had the plugin called, “Remove Parents” installed. Once I deactivated this, all was well with the world.

    I hope your issue is as easier as that.
