I’m using it free on a blog hosted by wp. ?????
Okay, well my guess is wordpress.com got a license for it at some point
Enterprise is available today in your dashboard in Appearance → Themes and will soon be available, from Enterprise designers StudioPress, in the WordPress Themes Directory, for self-hosted WordPress.org users.

it clearly states on their website that it is from http://www.studiopress.com/themes/enterprise for self-hosted wordpress.org users.
It is a premium them running about $80.00
Thanks for info. I saw an announcement somewhere that made me think it would be available from WordPress for people using WP on their own sites. I spose I must have misunderstood. $80 is a bummer. The theme is nice but…
From that blog post: “and will soon be available… in the WordPress Themes Directory, for self-hosted WordPress.org users.”
That clearly means that they’re going to free the theme and put it in the themes directory. What’s taking so long??
I just encountered a friend of mine who’s using that same theme on WordPress.com but might be moving to a self-hosted install.
Does someone know if WordPress still planning on releasing this them to the public?

The theme is licensed on wordpress.com from StudioPress. It’s up to StudioPress to release it to the public for free. Currently, the theme is available for purchase at http://www.studiopress.com/themes/enterprise
Ironically I actually own that theme from StudioPress. However it’s not the same. The WordPress.com version has just a few options making it dramatically simpler for users to use.
No one else knows where this theme might reside?
I’ve just discovered the same issue now that I have opted for a self-hosted installation.
As an alternative, I am now using the Simplo theme.
