Latest Recommendations for Hosting

    Hello,

    @andrea_r, this question is more for you cause I trust your opinion… what are the latest recommendations for hosting a WordPress Multisite project that plans to host around 200-800 blogs?

    I’ve tried eapps, asmallorange, MT, and 1and1.

    And also a feature request, maybe a ‘sticky’ post that lists recommended hosts?

    For that, a vps that has 512 RAM to start.

    The 3.org team may be coming up with a list of hosts.

    eapps is okay. asmallorange is okay. either of those you may need a slightly bigger package.

    wiredtree, vps.net and liquidweb are worth checking out. Not sure how much I can actually recommend, so that’s close enough. 🙂

    Closing this thread. Web space recommendation threads are notorious spam-catchers, and WP.org already has a hosting recommendations section. For other hosting questions, you’re best to research through Google and friends/colleagues to get a balanced view.
