I’ve recently installed Easy Page Link for WPML onto a colleague’s WordPress site and took immediate notice of the visual editor on the post/page Write Screen being turned off. There seems to be no effect on the HTML editor, however.

I have run this test with other plugins enabled, but none which tinker with the write screen editors to my knowledge. After disabling the Enable Page Link for WPML I discovered my visual editor returns.

For now I have decided to disable this plugin because use of the visual editor is important. The installation is running WordPress 3.0 by the way.

Oh yeah, can’t live without the visual editor.

Can you email wordpress (at) forestmist.org with the “Troubleshooting Information” found under the “EPL for WPML” menu item? You’ll have to temporarily enable the plugin to see the menu option in the bottom left area of your WordPress admin screen.

You could post it here too if you wish but it does reveal your database version and IDs of various articles. Nothing scandalous but you are welcome to email me privately if it makes you feel better. 🙂

This bug should be fixed in the new version now. Please try it out and let me know.

    Cheers!
