• Basically, I had my original website, boostyourgrade.com, with all the files published and uploaded onto my ftp server. It has run fine. I decided to redo the site on wordpress and for the time being, I made a subdomain boostyourgrade.com/wordpress and uploaded the wordpress interface there and made the site and so forth. Well, when I finished designing the site and wanted to transfer everything over to the main domain, I thought that I would need to wipe out all the old public_html files before I loaded the new wordpress stuff over it. I thought I could do that and then switch where the wordpress files were located through the wordpress interface, but, after nuking my public_html folder, I can no longer get to my wordpress stuff. I just get a 404 not found error. Did I just delete all my site files I’d been working on or simply because I deleted the wordpress stuff it couldn’t locate it. I’m hoping that the all my site work is saved on the wordpress database, and its just that I deleted it’s link to my website? I re-published the original site and tried to re-install the wordpress program as a subdomain to hopefully get rid of the error so I could try again but I can’t remember how I did it in the first place and am pretty sure that someone else could fix this in 15 minutes where as it would probably take me forever and a day. Please help!!!

    Yes

Your content should still be safe in your database. Contact your hosts. They will need to set your public_html folder back up again but you will need to re-upload WordPress.
