   A new version of WeatherIcon is out.

   Additions / Changes / Bug Fixes in v2.3.0:

   • Caching can now be done into the database rather than to a flat file (it's recommended you switch to database caching).
   • East and possibly other wind directions were missing. This has now been fixed.
   • Options page is now XHTML valid.
   • You can now clear the weather cache via the options page.
   • Function parameters allow_debug and print were changed to debug to display respectively (to better link the names to their function).
   • Added option to display sunrise and sunset times in your weather.

   Thanks kind sir! Been waiting on the sunrise/sunset times.... now, how about moon phases? I REALLY want a moon phase thing. Take a look at mindworkshop.com's pagan daybook.... that's what I'd like to have as regards moon phases....

   Yeah, I know. A plugin I'm using is causing that and I haven't had a chance to hack it to make it to work.

   Lucky for you, WeatherUnderground already has that data:

   http://mobile.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?brand=mobile&query=KPDX

   And since that's where the plugin grabs the sunrise/sunset times from, it shouldn't be hard to grab what phase the moon is in.

   However, new icons would have to be made for each phase of the moon, including when there's clouds:

   Thanks for the upgrade, but now my icon is showing a sun instead of a moon. It's nearly 10pm here and it was a moon just before upgrading and none of my options have changed (i.e. sunset hour is still 19). Any ideas what to do? I uploaded the file to the WI folder and deleted the old file in the plugins folder.

   Hmm. Yeah, the graphics could be a problem.... but y'know, if the moon-phase is displayed separately, it could just BE the phases, without the weather-effect icons. So you have a weather display icon, and if you activate moon-phases, you have a separate moon-phase icon since you'd want to see the moon-phase even at daylight hours....

   The true sunrise/sunset time is now pulled from WeatherUnderground.com starting in v2.2.0, if you have it enabled of course, so the configuration for sunrise/sunset is over-ridden by that.

   What's your station code? Is "Fetch Sunrise/Sunset from Weather Underground?" checked?
