Still no luck even after upgrading

    Thought that would surely help my problems with the long posts not previewing OR saving…but, nope!! Zilch. Nada. Still the same. Yes, I can login and view my site, what there is of it so far. But, no way to add to my material!

    Seems more and more folks around here are having similar troubles…

    I manually downloaded v.3, in fact I did it twice because in FTP I noticed that 11 files were still sitting in Queue. Got the same result on the second try. Also, when I logged into the Dashboard, I found this error msg:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/seaymee/public_html/aeolusia/wordpress/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 14595

    You need to make sure all the WP files are uploaded properly and is the same size as the source. Sounds like you are having some connection issues.

    Okay…uploaded time #3. Got all the files off the queue, apparently into their places on the server. Nothing leftover and “sitting.” However, upon trying to log in, I get another Parse Error. I tracked it down in NotePadPlus which gives enumerated lines (kudos to NPP). The trouble seems to be this-

    syntax error, unexpected $end

    When I found that particular line, I didn’t see anything at all wrong with it. I see a lot of $pung kind of things on that file.

    Any thoughts, anyone?
