[Plugin: Contact Form 7] HTML Links and Images not allowed in email?

Hello, I’m having an issue with adding a simple or even an <img src=””> in the email that I’m trying to have sent after I type them in the Message Body.

Since you can select ‘Use HTML content type’ one would think you’d be able to use basic HTML in the Message Body. But can you not? Or is there a bug? Or am I just plain old doing something wrong?
